The Security Alliance launches on June 15th

Tackling issues of security is always a challenge and one that works best when knowledge is shared and those involved work together.

For this reason the imminent launch of The Security Alliance, a collaboration of a number of UK security companies – including Loomis – should serve to help businesses share and learn from best practise, in addition to providing them with access to the best solutions that the security industry has to offer.

The Security Alliance will be officially launched on Wednesday 15th June with a “Shaping Security within our Community” workshop, onboard a luxury riverboat as it makes its way down the River Thames.

The launch event will bring together companies and security specialists from across the UK and across sectors including financial, retail, government, police and security.

Distinguished guests will include representatives of Greater Manchester Police (GMP), the Association of Chief Police officers (ACPO),the British Retail Consortium (BRC), British Security Industry Association (BSIA) and Security Industry Association (SIA).

Loomis UK Commercial Director, Stuart Bartlett said: “Beating crime needs to be a collaborative effort if it is to be done successfully, which is why we feel the official launch of The Security Alliance is such an important step. We have worked together in recent years on a number of projects, but this serves to formalise the partnership and presents something truly unique."

"We hope, that in offering UK businesses access to the leading minds and services in the industry, we can help those businesses protect their people, their property and their profits", Bartlett added.

The Security Alliance is formed of a number of companies, each expert in its individual security discipline. The UK based partners include cash management specialist Loomis, the Mobile, Alert and Man-Guarding divisions of Securitas, security integrator Niscayah and Pinkerton Consulting & Investigations, in addition to a number of other associates who share the same values and innovative ideals.
