Helmet with full-face visor

Our crews will have their helmet on with the visor fully down when in customer premises. There is no requirement for them to wear face coverings as they are protected by the visor, which should be worn down at all times Please note that our crews are under strict instructions that they must not remove their helmets should a customer ask them to do so under any circumstances.

Temperature checks

We appreciate that some customers may require people visiting their premises to undergo temperature checks. Where this is the case our crew are allowed to raise their visor to a sufficient level temporarily to allow this to take place. We would expect the person conducting the check to wear appropriate PPE such as a face covering or face visor to minimise any risk of possible infection to our colleagues.

All Loomis colleagues have been issued with personal PPE kits which contains hand sanitiser, disinfecting wipes, disinfecting antiviral spray, disposable gloves and other items. These are replenished as necessary.

The standard Loomis UK PPE equipment such as stab vests and safety footwear etc. will continue to be worn as normal, this includes our Body Worn Safety Cameras which will be operational at all times.

Our Driver/Guards are expecting all deliveries and collections of cash and coin to take place where they always have done. If this is not possible then you must contact your nearest branch to make alternative arrangements before we visit.

Not to involve themselves in any physical contact (like shaking hands)

Wipe down all our iboxes and cash containers with antiviral wipes to eliminate the risk of contamination

Crews will not ask for a PDA signature or pass their PDA to customers. Printed receipts will be provided
