What Are Technical Services?
Loomis Technical Services source, deploy, manage and dispose of all types of IT equipment, including Electronic Point of Sale (EPoS) equipment and peripherals. All of our processes ensure the highest standards whilst complying with local or legislative requirements.

How Do Technical Services Work?
Technical Services has the ability and experience to provide single, multiple or full end-to-end solutions. Whether you need a single computer or require the full design and installation of an EPoS system across a retail chain, Technical Services can provide a bespoke solution.

Design
The design process is based upon our understanding of your business, with the goal of developing a solution which meets your budget, timeframes and requirements. Our experienced team of Solutions Architects will work with you to scope your requirements and provide options for delivery, procurement, confi guration and installation. Following these discussions we will produce a Statement of Works (SoW) outlining the agreed options, for you to approve.

Source & Configure
Working within the agreed project specifi cations, our team will source and procure all required equipment based upon the criteria defined within the SoW.

Our Secure Configuration Centre based in the UK, facilitates the preparation of systems for any delivery and deployment. We can provide confi guration environments to meet current banking or government security standards, or alternatively we can conduct confi guration on your premises.

Delivery & Deploy
If your project requires a single deployment, our project team will ensure a timely delivery to the agreed destination in line with the SoW. Where your requirements demand a staged deployment schedule, Loomis can provide fully insured secure storage.

Located centrally within the UK our 60,000 sq. ft. warehouse, supported by a nation-wide network of forward stock locations, can deliver your goods on a ‘just in time’ basis.Upon arrival at your location, our carefully selected and vetted engineers, can deliver and install each unit directly to a user’s desk or server room.

Manage & Support
Throughout the project, our project managers will ensure compliance to the SoW. Loomis will also conduct post-deployment reviews and ensure the provision of post-implementation support to manage fault diagnosis, resolution and user familiarisation.

A dedicated helpdesk and the ability to supply 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support throughout the life of a solution, ensures the best return on your investment.

Track & Trace
Throughout the cycle of every project, our goals remain those of both best practice and transparency. We provide customers with a web portal to track their assets from arrival at our premises through to deployment at their site.

Legacy
Loomis understands the importance of managing your legacy equipment, both during and after deployment. Working within the defined SoW criteria, we can supply a range of flexible services including: certified secure IT disposal meeting current WEEE directives, data destruction to SEAP 8500 standards, equipment resale, recycling and charitable donations.

Field Engineering
Loomis deliver high quality field engineering support and maintenance across the UK. Our large engineering team can provide flexible engineering services across multiple disciplines, ranging from incident support through to permanent customer badged staff, located on your site.

Configuration Services
Loomis operate one of the leading post-manufacture configuration facilities in Europe, which can offer a range of services including bespoke software or hardware builds, multi machine software imaging and pre-delivery testing labs.

Warehouse & Logistics
Centrally located within the UK, our secure warehouse facility offers 60,000 sq. ft. of high level storage. It is ideally suited to receive and distribute large volumes of stock, either new or decommissioned. Offering segregated, dedicated or bespoke storage solutions, our warehousing facility offers the highest standards of security, backed by full replacement value insurance. Utilising inventory management, we tailor our stock rotation methods to your needs.
