What is Cash Processing?
Cash Processing is the validation and counting of cash. Loomis operate Cash Processing Centres across the UK, where we validate and count bank notes and coin collected from our customers. We provide comprehensive reports which detail processed cash from all of their premises – single or multi-site.

If Cash Processing is paired with our Cash & Valuable In Transit (CVIT) Services, the need for cash to be walked to a bank is removed, as is the time spent waiting for it to be counted and processed. Utilising both of these services will not only save you valuable time, you may also find that your bank reduces the charges they may levy for this over-the-counter service. Also to be borne in mind is the potential risk to you or your staff in walking the cash to the bank, which is negated as Loomis collect from your premises.

How Does Cash Processing Work?
At Loomis we accelerate Cash Processing, the process of counting and verifying deposits which allows swift bank account crediting.

Our Cash Processing Centres operate fully integrated IT systems, which ensures total security, full tracking throughout the process and the detected/reporting of forgeries.

All monies are counted by our trained and BSIA vetted staff at desktop level, which provides one process for both small and large credits. Consolidated cash is provided to your bank via a Bulk Till or transported to your bank directly. Additionally, multiple credits can be produced from one deposit if required.

A range of reports are available, which can be customised to your requirements and transmitted in various electronic formats.
