The positive operating margin development continues

“During the third quarter we have successfully signed new contracts with large volumes primarily in Sweden and in France and combined with the strong margin development during the third quarter, we are well on our way to reach our margin target, an operating margin (EBITA) of 10 percent by 2014, at the latest”, states Loomis President and CEO, Lars Blecko.

Loomis’ operating income (EBITA)1) for the first nine months of 2012 (January-September) amounted to MSEK 709 (646), including negative exchange rate effects of MSEK 1. The operating margin increased to 8.3 percent (8.0).

Revenue during the period amounted to 8,507 (8,092). Organic growth amounted to 0 percent (1).

Income before taxes amounted to MSEK 611 (497) and net income after taxes amounted to MSEK 428 (333).

Cash flow from operating activities amounted to MSEK 547 (466), which is equivalent to 77 percent (72) of operating income (EBITA).

Earnings per share before dilution were SEK 5.86 (4.56), and Earnings per share after dilution were SEK 5.66 (4.41).

Third quarter 2012

Operating income (EBITA)1) for the third quarter amounted to MSEK 272 (273), including negative exchange rate effects of MSEK 14. The operating margin which increased to 9.8 percent (9.5) includes a non-recurring cost of 16 MSEK related to a lost legal dispute in Denmark. Adjusted for this non –recurring cost the operating margin amounted to 10.3 percent.

Revenue during the third quarter amounted to MSEK 2,788 (2,882). Organic growth amounted to -2 percent (1).

Income before taxes during the third quarter amounted to MSEK 234 (247) and net income after taxes amounted to MSEK 164 (165).

Cash flow from operating activities amounted to MSEK 362 (277), which is equivalent to 133 percent (102) of operating income (EBITA).

Earnings per share before dilution were SEK 2.24 (2.26), and Earnings per share after dilution were SEK 2.17 (2.18).
