Launched at the show on Sunday 21st March 2010, the SAFEPOINT i-deposit sets a new standard for cash security, visibility and control. It is an intelligent back office bank note deposit solution for improved cash security and cash management. Cash consisting of bundles of up to 50 bank notes can be deposited, validated and any counterfeits are automatically rejected. Once deposited the cash cannot be removed and is inaccessible to unauthorised personnel until collected by Loomis and delivered for cash processing, creating a closed cash handling system. The real time cash levels can be monitored using SAFEPOINT i-control. SAFEPOINT i-control can be accessed by Loomis to monitor the technical status of the SAFEPOINT i-deposit so that maintenance and updates can be carried out before a problem occurs. |
