Loomis enters Latin America with acquisition in Argentina
Loomis has acquired the Argentinean cash handling company Vigencia which has around 190 employees.
With operations primarily in the Buenos Aires region, the company has just under 40 cash in transit (CIT) vehicles and net sales of around SEK 60 million.

Loomis UK is one of the latest group of successful companies to join a leading edge scheme, designed to help industry improve its safety record.
The firm recently received accreditation from SAFEcontractor, a programme which recognises very high standards of health and safety practise amongst UK contractors.
2011 - Organic growth and improved margin
Loomis’ operating income (EBITA)1) for 2011 amounted to MSEK 912 (882), including exchange rate effects of MSEK –59. The operating margin amounted to 8.3 percent (8.0).
Revenue for the full year amounted to MSEK 10,973 (11,033). Real growth amounted to 7 percent (–1) and the organic growth amounted to 1 percent (–1).
