That’s exactly what happens when you use SafePoint i-pay. It’s a closed cash handling and recycling system that can be used at either manned checkouts or self-service payment stations.
Whether the customer pays in notes, coin or both, i-pay will count, sort and validate the money on the spot – returning any invalid cash. The remainder is then stored for recycling or for issue as debit card ‘cash-back’.
When it’s time for collection, the cash is deposited into an ink-protected cassette and is taken to the back office, already checked and counted, before being automatically stacked and sealed inside the i-pay secure transfer unit.
