Our memberships and affiliations are important as they provide assurance of our legislative compliance, provide a forum for the ongoing development of best practice and ultimately allow us to improve the service we offer you.

These partnerships help us to keep up to date, evaluate our management systems, promote key service messages and ensure we have the right skills for all areas of our operation.

Equally, the accreditations we have received from some of these organisations are hallmarks of Loomis’s high standards in all areas of cash management.

BSIA    
BSIA - British Security Industry Asssociation  

The British Security Industry Association is the trade association for the professional security industry in the UK. 

Members are responsible for more than 70% of UK security products and services (by turnover) including the manufacture, distribution and installation of electronic and physical security equipment. Along with the provision of security guarding and consultancy services.

SIA - Approved Contractor Scheme  

Loomis UK Limited holds SIA approved contractor status for the provision of Cash and Valuables in Transit services. 

The ACS Standard encompasses all aspects of a security provider’s operation. It takes a holistic view of how well an organisation is managed and an approved organisation must demonstrate to an independent assessor, on an annual basis, that it has met defined standards

NSI - National Security Inspectorate  

The National Security Inspectorate (NSI) is recognised as the leading certification body for the security and fire protection sectors in the UK. 

Loomis UK Ltd has been assessed and satisfies the requirements of the NSI Cash Services Gold Scheme in accordance with the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2008, BS 7872, BS 7858 and NSI Passport Specification.

Banknote Watch is a crime prevention initiative - promoting the fact that a stained note is probably a stolen note. The aim of Banknote Watch is to prevent criminals profiting from the proceeds of crime and reduce the risk of businesses becoming the victims of commercial robbery. 

Banknote Watch is a partnership between the manufacturers, installers & users of cash staining systems, the Government and Police.

DBS

The Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) helps employers make safer recruitment decisions and prevent unsuitable people from working with vulnerable groups, including children. It replaces the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) and Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA).DBS is an executive non-departmental public body, sponsored by the Home Office.

Membership includes the major multiples, a range of small and medium size retailers plus various sector specific trade associations and suppliers of services to the UK retail sector, such as Consulting, Financial Services, Information Technology and Security..

Link-Up is the official UK rail industry supplier qualification scheme, providing a single common registration, qualification and audit process for suppliers that is shared by the UK rail industry. 

This means we are part of a UK rail industry scheme which provides a yearly audit to ensure we have the correct skills to work on the railways.

With its increasing membership and growing profile in the UK, the Safecontractor scheme is now used by many large organisations as a way of obtaining competent contractors.

The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is a voluntary accreditation scheme that promotes best practice for commercial vehicle operators. FORS encompasses all aspects of safety, efficiency, and environmental protection by encouraging and training fleet operators to measure, monitor and improve performance. FORS members work to standards above the legal minimum.

Five Loomis branches (Dagenham, Heathrow, Horsham, Maidstone & Southampton) have been awarded the Bronze Accreditation.
